I have discovered Yupo paper.... Yupo is a synthetic paper vs the cotton paper I normally use.Playing with paint and form on this paper is really helping me to loosen up. Yupo is a very slippery, non-absorbent surface.
You can see how colors and shapes flow into one another.... watercolor is a medium that takes full advantage of the properties of water...one of the reasons I love it so much.
Watch for some Yupo paintings in my next posts.
We will see what watercolor and yupo do when coming face to face in my art room!!!!
